Appointment System


Appointments are made at 10 minute intervals with longer consultations available on request. To ensure appointments are at a time to suit patient’s needs we advise that appointments are made well in advance where possible and inform our friendly receptionists in case of needing a longer appointment for complex medical issues which normally requires more than 10 minutes.

If patients are unable to attend their appointment it would be appreciated if they would advise the practice on 03 6442 2201 as soon as possible, so that the appointment can be re-allocated for patients in needs. If you are attending late due to unavoidable circumstances, please call our friendly receptionists to inform your doctor about being late and arrange your appointment appropriately.

Despite their best intentions and efforts your doctor sometimes runs late. This is because someone has needed unexpected urgent medical attention. Thank you and appreciate your kind consideration. If you need to leave on time for another appointment please do not hesitate to notify the reception staff on your arrival and they will inform your doctor about the matter to put on priority or arrange to see available doctor at that time.


Longer appointments are available on request.  If patients want an insurance medical or any other medicals, a medical report, review of a complex health problem, counselling for emotional issues, the GPs require the patient to book a longer appointment.  This may involve a longer wait but the problem will get not only the attention it deserves but also can be dealt with high quality medical care. If you feel you need a longer consultation time with the doctor please feel free to advise the reception staff.


A  cancellation fee of fifteen dollars ($15) will be charged for non-attendance or failure to notify the practice within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment. The fee may be waived on individual doctor’s discretion based on valid grounds.
